Pencarian Menuju Tujuan

Manusia punya tujuan. Mereka juga punya tempat di mana rasa nyaman itu ada dan dirindukan. Begitu juga yang terjadi sekarang ini. Sejauh-jauhnya tapak ini melangkah atau hingga terbang membahana, pencitraan dan basis dirinya tetap di dalam sini. Biar kucatat perjalananku di sini tak terkecuali ketika aku merasa sepi. Hingga tak tahu siapa yang mendengar mengkehendaki. Di sini, tempat baru yang akan menghantarkanku pada tujuan. Tentunya dengan berkat dan restu dari-Nya. Aku kembali :)

Not willing to disturb

Was more important

Than listening to the things that trouble me

But you chose to stay

You chose me over your responsibility

You said this is more important

How much it meant to me

I almost teared up but I held it back

Carved the feeling quietly into my heart

Because that was the day I knew

You would never leave me hanging

And that is how

You make me feel heard

You make me feel understood

You are more than a bystander

You are my secret cheerleader

You say the things I was wondering about

The things I am not yet brave enough to admit

And that is how you reassure me

And that is how you calm my nerves

You solved this complicated puzzle

Simply by listening

You are my go to person

As I sail through this storm

You are the silent force behind my moves

And yet you told me

You know I usually have the answer

And you just need to fish it out

And that is how you just won my respect

And that is how I feel you gently cracked me open

How I wish I knew you more than a decade ago

That way I can hear your voice more

That way I can stare at your face longer

That way I can admire you even deeper

And that is how

I thought

You could be more

Than just my favourite soundboard
