It's The Place

A stranger told me I’m not stressed to find a new place
I’m stessed because I need to let go my current place
Which actually does not belong to me

A stranger asked me to not be too clingy
And I need to be hard to myself
But my heart says I don’t need to
And it gets hurt or angry when I do

It’s the place whereby it didn’t take long for me to like it
It didn’t make me go through a hard time to adapt
It just happened naturally that I want to stay for as long as I could
It is incredibly comfortable beyond what I could imagine
It is handy with all attributes tag along
Including those I never thought before
And before I knew it, I had been attached to it

It did disturb me at night for a few
But I just find the work around on how to deal with it
It never asked for more since day one
I’m grateful and contended
I’m thankful for it in my prayer

It’s the place where I feel safe
Where I snuggle in bed for the whole day
Where the walls be the witnesses of my laughter and tears
Where the windows locked my secrets
Where the door transforms a sweet tooth person to be a melancholic drinker
Where the ceiling supports the passion, imagination and inspiration
Where I can be myself without worrying a single thing

It’s the place where I thought is going to be the last stop
Before I reside in my own house
A place where I can proudly called my home
Because my heart is there

The place is now full of my stuffs
Each stuff with its own story
And that what makes it heavy
I wanted to keep it somehow
I reluctant to replace it somewhere
I refuse to throw it away
Although I doubt I will ever gonna need it again

And now I should let it go
Thing which I never really have
Because of the simple unfavorable statement
And it crunch my heart
Ruins my mind
And making me lose appetite

So I guess thank you for the time we are together
For giving me shelter
For keeping me intact
For always be there and stay there
No matter how screwed up I was
And weird I am

I may not find your replacement yet
You know I find difficulties to match up your standard
Because you are a rare case, a real deal
But whatever replace you
Or replace me
Have faith
It’s for the better
And
Because I knew you
I have been changed for good

(inspired by true event: searching room for rent, leaving the first room I stay after graduate in 2012.)
